RITUAL PORTRAIT SESSIONS are a co-creative project, a guided exploration, a living inquiry.
This offering has been painstakingly honed over the span of 15 years in my private practice and my one-on-one work with hundreds of clients.
These Rituals are a practice of self-connection, a way to affirm whatever part of the self is in need of greater understanding and fuller embodiment. The process of being deeply present with the distinct feeling-states, moods, aesthetics and energy of the externalized self is often deeply transformative.
Inviting the shadow to reveal itself in a way that feels like play can foster internal safety and self-trust. The mythic and magical images we make together provide an opportunity to be a reverent witness to self, to say: “I see you. I know you. Maybe I can love you.” They serve as a reminder of the self-connective experience. An invitation to come home again and again to one’s own wholeness and worthiness.
